We loved everything about Loveless! Our waitress was so sweet & friendly. The food was delicious, especially the biscuits! They reminded us of what our mama used to make & made my sister & I emotional. The store beside the restaurant offers mixes & preserves to take home & enjoy later. The preserves are worth every penny!
A real American diner experience with huge portions. The food was good and plenty. The servers were super friendly and attentive which I loved. The coffee is not notable but exactly what you expect in a diner. I recommend going here if you are in the area.
We came based on a friend’s recommendation when visiting. A really cool restaurant with a long history. The food came quickly and was a real highlight. They ran a brisket with eggs special and it was absolutely delicious. The hashbrown casserole was great as well. Biscuits were hot, buttery, flakey and the peach preserves were a standout.
I absolutely loved everything about my time at Loveless Cafe. I’ve been several times over the years, but this last Wednesday was probably one of my favorite experiences. A server named Chaz saw I was eating alone and took it upon himself to make my time as fun as possible. He checked on me every few minutes and joked around with me. He made what could’ve been a lonely experience, an enjoyable one. The food was amazing! I had the Hawkeye omelette (I think that was the name of it). It was delicious. The biscuits and jam were divine! I will definitely make Loveless a tradition to visit each year.
Someone say “time for lunch” a famous Resturant established in 1951. Don’t even think about coming here “just do it” ask for Cody (amazing and out of this world fantastic service! Close the menu because you’re going to have the “fried pork chops with county gravy” period end of story! Do the fried okra as a side. For your adult beverage you’re gonna go with a Jack and coke have Cody add a little extra Jack, he makes it to perfection. finish it off with a little pecan pie!
A friend and I went here for brunch to round out our Nashville girls weekend. There was a bit of a wait but we expected there to be so. We first tried to make a reservation on the website but any time we were looking for wasn't available so we decided to just put our names on the wait list when we got there, which was super easy to do. While waited we walked around to the 2 gift shops that were open grabbed some coffee, and looked around the grounds. All together a really cool place to look atound while you wait for your table. The food was your traditional diner/café food which is exactly what we wanted and was delicious. The complimentary biscuits and jam are a must try. They are so soft, buttery and delicious. Service was top notch 10/10 I've unfortunately forgotten our servers name but they all seemed great from what I observed at other tables. They were very attentive and brought everything we needed without being overbearing.
Takes me back to the 60s…cool atmosphere. Neat story on how it started too. Would definitely come back. Best part—the plentiful biscuits with homemade jam. WOW. Highly recommend the fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, and cole slaw. And again, the biscuits are some of the best I have ever eaten. It’s like eating dessert before the main entree.
Off the friggin hook.. great food, fresh.. a little wait but it's worth it.. the atmosphere was awesome. Chaz who our server had a super vibe.. felt like we have been friends for years. He is a jewel in this crown. I had the BBQ omelet, wife had the breakfast bowl and daughter had pancakes. Big selection of breakfast cocktails, I had the bloody Maria.. Yummy We will be back.. thanks
